They'll do that when sitting on
any slick surface, particularly if that slick surface is also wet. If you want to use wood as a base for your Andersens to gain more lift secure
outdoor recycled rubber stair tread to the wood and those Andersens won't go anywhere. Not sure which US retailers handle these but they're readily available here in Canada at any big box home improvement retailers.
