I've tried the cordless drill thing and don't like it. Being able to put just the right amount of weight on the jack by hand is key to getting a good stable setup. I guess I could use the drill to get it to the ground and then use the hand crank but that just seems like more work carrying two tools and switching off.
I agree with the poster above that looks at these fancy electronic gizmos as just one more thing to break down the road.
