Ive tried this without the torsion bars and the camper just weighs to much. It sank the rear end of my Yukon...
No one is suggesting you take it for a spin around town... Just hook up and back-up/pull forward onto blocks to level it.
There's no reason NOT to do it... Heck you could do it with any vehicle you own if it had a hitch.
