I see a lot of campers running around the Spokane, WA area and no one else is concerned either since I never see a relocated truck plate mounted on the camper.
If someone relocated their truck plate to the camper, that would probably raise a red flag to a state trooper.
I always move my truck plate to the camper... otherwise it would be 4 feet in front of the rear camper bumper, up and under the overhang.
Why ask to be stopped.... even if it is just curoosity on the police's part.
And too.... how many people on the TC forum check the plates to see where the TC is from.... most I'd venture.
Our truck campers don't have lic plates...
We used to have 2 plates for our trucks... front and rear.
One ton trucks and larger can legally put the plate on the front in TN
