License Plate issues
How many here have had issues with the police regarding obscured license plates due to their truck campers? Has anyone been stopped for such things? Or stopped for other issues but had the cops me...

I have been cited for not having a license on the rear of my truck when it was mounted in the back window as I did nor have a bumper at the time. I have been cited for having a hitch ball on a bumper mount as it obscured the license, I have friends that have gotten tagged because of bike racks obscuring the license. My opinion is after all that' is if there is a spot on the camper for a license then that is where it should go when the camper is on the truck. I don't have to worry about LEO as my wife is sure to remind me before we leave, and believe me I would rather deal with a LEO on this matter. This discussion could go on till the end of time but the reality is,do you want to give them(both the DW or LEO) a reason,is it REALLY worth it? Not for me, I put mine on the camper when it is on the truck and I don't have to worry about the DW the heck with LEO.
