No cables or pulleys in an "a frame" style trailer. This is like Chalet or Aliner. The roof panels have some sort of counterbalance or spring tension, I'm sure, to assist the user's lifting strength when pushing those panels up into postion. Whether it's adjustable, I don't know. Seems like I read some time back that Chalet has an optional assist mechanism for their models, so it should be a possibility in theory at least. But Forest River might not offer such a device... they have only made these for, what, 3 or 4 years?
