That is a description of our water pump switch. Put some water in the fresh water tank, turn it on, and open a faucet. Should start running. It will actually most likely start running before you open a faucet because it will be pressurizing the lines.
Depending on how your rig is plumbed or if you have a winterizing kit installed, you may have to open a valve from the outlet side of the pump first. OR there may be a valve that needs opening on the inlet side of the pump from the water tank.
On our trailer the water heater switch is in the same area but is a two position switch. One side puts the heater in electric mode, the other side in gas mode.
It might help if you put that information in a signature. You would be amazed at the number of members who may have the exact same rig and can answer your questions for sure.:)
