Light Switch above sink and stove
We just purchased a 1992 Chateau privately. We are coming from a pop-up camper so don't know all the ins and out yet.. Inside of the camper there is a single black switch that turns red when flipped....

Mine has two switches in the locality you describe. One is just a rocker switch labeled "water pump", the other is a momentary switch with red light labeled "water heater". When I flip the water heater switch the red light comes on for a few seconds and then goes out. If the water heater does not light,(gas operation), the red light comes back on. The electric side of the water heater is a switch in a different locale (looks like a regular light switch) labeled only "on"(switch up) and "off" switch down. Confused enough yet?
