I don't use these adapters alot but it is nice to have in the truck tool box to get you started in the right direction when troubleshooting trailer hookup problem.
I also always squirt some WD-40 into the truck side 7-way connection and move the trailer 7-way plug around pretty good to make sure the connections are being made. This has solved many intermittent type operations of certain lights...

Roy, I'm always a sucker for a good gadget. Didn't know this existed. Thanks for sharing. Ordered both types and they'll now be in my tool box, also.
