Lighting(side marker lights)
are travel trailers required generally to have side marker lights? strangly, ours doesn't. I thought they were required in Ontario Canada and just about everywhere else

Looking at the US DOT regulations, which I believe are the same, you only need a midship side marker if it is over 30' in length.
