I would recommend doing the hitch first, removing it and having it sprayed, then put the hitch back. This way the holes have liner sprayed over the bare metal. As far as one versus the other, I have had both and have my personal favorite. Rhino is easy on the knees and is grippy and shiny. Line-X is more abrasive yet easier to shovel rocks off of. I do have the new RAM with the factory liner and it is identical to Line-X. Which you choose is personal preference based on what you like better as both are great products.
