LineX and front hitch

Just thinking here...that always gets me into trouble ..lol. We have a bodiak front hitch that is powder coated and its flaking off after several years of use. I was wondering if we had it sandblasted and put lineX on it if it would be better than it is now. Has anyone ever tried it and if so, how was the results? We are pleased with our truck bed, we had it done before we took delivery of the truck. Thanks!
