Lemme see if I got this right...
Ford bad...Ford Diesel worse. (They sure seem to
sell a lot of them). The 6.4L a disaster waiting to happen.
That about sum it up ?
We have decided to pass on the test drive. The casual
pace of our search has been guided by the dependability
of my 8.1 L gasser with Allison.
Actually, the info that swayed us was the transitional status
of the 6.4L (bridge between 6.0L and 6.7L/7.3L). That gets scary...
in regards to resale/parts supply/support. Although, my Big block
is no longer available from GM ... so could possibly be over
estimating that part of the equation.
