I bought separate items for our trailer that I store in snap & lock bins and keep them stored in our trailer, the only thing I will remove is the excess food (if not in a can) and our clothes (made a removable hamper that we just take with us when we're done).
The items I store on the TT I bought off craigslist or ebay or amazon, so really no clearing out the trailer for us.
