- Majja13ExplorerHere is what I did.
The pictures were taken prior to building in the battery hold downs. Once you are in the box you still need tools to get the batters out. The box will hold up to 4 6 volt batteries.
This is what it looks like from a distance it looks as though it came with the TT. - harold1946Explorer

Clues are sometimes misleading.
And you know what they say about ASSuming. :B
Guess I can also assume you not only didn't know, you didn't have a clue.:p The Vulcan strikes again. - Vulcan_RiderExplorer

Does anyone know a good way to lock the 12V battery to the travel trailer to help deter theft? Thanks.
You need to give us the make and model and an idea of where the battery is located and how it's mounted.
Mine are under the step, inside a locked door and impossible to get to without picking a lock or breaking something.
Is there some special reason you are worried about this ?
The words travel trailer should have given you a clue. The battery/batteries on most all are mounted on the tongue.
If it were inside I doubt it would be an issue. :S - Vulcan_RiderExplorer

I also went with a round shielded lock to add a little extra work for them.
But yeah. If they want it bad enough they can take them.
I also have my propane bottles locked to the frame. - 2012ColemanExplorer IIAre you worried about theft while traveling or while stored? If you are storing your TT, your best bet would be to disconnect the battery and store in your garage and use a trickle charger to maintain battery health.
