I've had Eternabond on my front and rear cap seals for about 9 years, it's holding up well.
Last year I applied Eternabond to the edges of my roof onto the drip rail. No problems so far.
Ditto and I applied a 2" wide strip along the entire roof edge and down onto the metal insert molding to just before the vinyl insert trim is a the same time and none of that has lifted. Same for everything on the top of the roof (i.e. no lifting of any edges) except a couple of small areas at the 4 corners where I have multiple layers of the roof seal built up to seal those corners and they have a lot of non level areas. none of these minor lifting areas effected the sealing and I simply trimmed off the lifted area just last month mostly for cosmetic purposes.
Only on the front roof to front edge seam this year am I starting to see some hairline cracking in the white covering on the Eternabond roof seal tape. Nothing major and since the sealing is actually done by the much thicker microsealant this is more of a cosmetic and UV first defense issue than a potential sealing problem at this time. This front gets the full brunt of the daily sun and the rest of the roof looks a good as it was done back in the spring of 2008.
