Beaker, I certainly remember what was going on in '08. I wish I would have bought a foreclosure or two and loaded up on some of the bank stocks that were tanking at the time. Sounds like you got a fantastic deal on your truck, wow.
I've been reading the dieselplace LMM forum and it seems like doing a DPF delete with reprogram is the way to go.
As far as price goes I'm still trying to get a feel for it. Initially I had planned on just getting another F-150 so the diesel pricing is all new to me. Too bad cars.com doesn't have a "sold for" feature like eBay so you can tell what they are selling for...
