Even a "Bullet-proofed" 6.0 can be disabled easily, unless the "bulletproofing" job included new injectors, FICM, and engine wiring harness. Just addressing the EGR system only fixes one possible failure point.
How about buy one that doesn't have the term bullet proof associated with it.
The other options of that era do not require bullet proofing.
They were bullet proofed at the factory.
