I owned a 05 6.0PSD and sold it after 7 years 170k miles of great service. Replaced the HAC turbo hose and the EGR valve would clog with soot every ~80k miles but it was a simple maintenance item. Received full NADA value during trade in and I have no reason to believe that truck couldn't go an easy 250k miles with no repairs except for that pesky EGR valve.
BIL owned a 04 6.0PSD and sold it after 5 years with basically no issues.
Guy at work owned a 04 6.0PSD and sold it after 7 years with over 250k miles. Replaced the FICM and various sensors due to lightning striking the truck during a storm.
For the 03-07 model diesel trucks still on the road today, I still see by large more 6.0 PSD Super Duty's still on the road than the other two diesel brands combined. And IMO the Super Duty is the best truck platform with the best transmission.
