Don't think they fared any better! RAM has made huge inroads in those industries because of all the problems the Ford diesels were having.
OP if you are set on Ford get a 15 or newer.
Agree. I wasn't implying they were trouble free by no means. The 6.0 and 6.4 directly caused my company to buy V10's in the 450 and 550 buckets, nation wide. Only until last year when they've started going back to the 6.7 diesel. Apparently we have some DEEP ties to Ford.
My F450 with the gasser averages 6mpg lol !!
