You can just get a sparker for a BBQ that has at least as many circuits as you need. For instance, if you have three burners but get a sparker for 4 points then you just ground the extra one.
Then you can cut the wires that go to the existing "spark plugs" and tap into them with the wires supplied by the sparker. That way you have both the new electronic unit and the old original manual part in case of failure.
