Looking for expert advice on TV/RV size and weight
Hello all,
The wife and I are starting to look at our first TT and decided that before we go any further we look for some advice from some experienced RV'ers. I have driven tractor trailers for many years so I have a lot of experience driving, but the weight to trailer/ truck size can get confusing. I own a 2012 Ford F150 FX4 short bed without max tow, but I do have have a standard tow package wirh factory trailer break installed. other specs include Ecoboost motor 3.73 gears with a load weight of 1135 lbs. Truck GVWR is 7200 lbs, GCWR is 15,500. What would be the MAX comfortable tongue weight and trailer length/ weight you would recommend? I' currently looking at 600lb hitch with a 5995lb dry weight total weight 7600 lb trailer that is 29' feet long.
By the way it's just the wife and I in the truck.
Sorry for the long question but the people here seem to be the best to ask this question to!
