My all time favorite floorplan is the Surveyor 264 with an awesome rear kitchen. Looked at it before we bought our HTT and it was more money than we wanted to spend and DH was still adamant NO SLIDE. Our 23SS had a slide and now we wouldn't have one without a slide. Time to move to a TT and I looked again. Our F-150 is rated for 8,000# and IIRC, the 264 came in very close to 7,000#. Rats! Surveyor tends to make a bit heavier trailer due to their building systems, but seems like there may be a very similar model(s) out there that is lighter weight. Maybe others can help on that. If you have the capacity, definitely take a look.
