I haven't weighed the loaded trailer but I'd suspect it is around 6,500 total. We just got back from a 1200 mile round trip between West Texas and Southern Colorado. The Jeep did fine for the most part. There were a couple of times when it had to kick into a lower gear quite a bit to pull hills that I couldn't get a run on but the truck had plenty of power. Watching the speed and tach, I was between 2,500 and 3,000 RPM running between 65 and 70. Gas mileage sucked.
