You'll be ok with your rig. 800lbs of CCC is plenty as long as you're not hauling a load of wood and traveling with full water tanks. By comparison, ours has a bit over 900lbs CCC and loaded up for camping, we have barely 300lbs of gear for a family of 6. Just go out and enjoy and take it easy. Since you already have the hitch, just keep it--you'll be fine. We have a 1400/14000 hitch for our trailer (I know, overkill, but that's what dealer installed and we weren't very knowledgeable about it), but honestly the ride is not bad.
