You couldn't give me free Michelins. There are a number of posts on the forum about Michelin and BFG failures.
I have driven well over 1,000,000 miles on Michelin's, BFG's and Uniroyal's combined. Not one cracked not one flat. Uniroyal's made it to 80K on my 86 C20 2wd and then Michelin's made it to 100K on same truck.
Then 98 RAM 4x4 2500 120K on Michelins then 3rd gen BFG's made it over 100K each set. Oh I for got the 81 VW PU had Michelin's from the factory I never rotated the tires and the fronts wore out at 75K and the rears made it to 150K.
So I guess everyone has different experiences.
Yep-different experiences. There have been many questions about Michelin's on this forum and there seems to be a growing consensus that in the last few years Michelin and their brands have become problematic. You and travenutz seem to be the only ones who get high mileage.
My distaste for Michelin is because of issues with a number of BFG tires over manufacturing defects and their refusal to honor a warranty. I have an open post about the blowouts I experienced.
