Two words, water intrusion. BE very careful about purchasing something that old. I would do a lot of research before I bought. Most from that Era will need extensive work and major appliances replaced. After doing so the RV is still worth next to nothing. You can buy a new 14 to 16 foot camper for around 10k or a couple years old for around 7k. These would also be more suitable for towing behind your vehicle with a 3500# limit.
