Hello and thanks in advance! Just joined, and looking to purchase a 1973 Terry. The only info I have is 14' dual axial, and photos...How can I find specs? I have searched the ineternet to no avail. I need to know TT gross & tongue weight to decide on this purchase. I have a max towing capacity of 3500 on my vehicle. I've never owned a camper before, I'm an avid tent camper for many years. Time to upgrade my style!

Is the 3500 lbs. the maximum trailer weight listed in your owner's manual? You may find that the maximum cargo weight is exceeded before you reach 3500 lbs. Post up what vehicle you plan to tow with.

"The only info I have is 14' dual axial, and photos..."44 year old TTs without exceptional care...unless you are looking for a project....for a new RVer may not make you happy. Couple that with the good possibility you'll be over loaded, I'd pass on this one. Look lighter.

In the old NADA guides the only terry close to your size was a 19' long unit (total length I assume) and it was just under 3000 lbs, it did not say loaded or empty, but I would assume empty. If you want something more specific, all you can do is 1 Weigh the unit to determine weights2. Search for any stickers or stamps which may give hints to weights including alxes for their capacities. What is your tow vehicle?I wandered around a little looking at the weight you are looking at and will suggest that you look for an "egg" trailer. Scamp or a similar brand. They usually weigh 2000 or so empty, and are light enough for most vehicles to tow. And they are pretty high quality so if your willing to look at an older unit, one with no obvious water damage may be a safer bet than the old terry model.
