I have been looking around the web for trailer wheels/rims but I can't seem to find any that match the weight of my trailer. Please excuse my ignorance but how does that work?
Your 242 KZ may have a 6000 GVWR. KZ specs shows 14" tires and wheels. If your trailer has 14" wheels, now would be a good time to move up to 15" wheels as there is a better selection of 15" tires and wheels for a 6000 GVWR trailer.
In KZ website specs for the 242 trailers they show a 4000 lb axle rating which by fed regs require 2000 lb rated tires/wheels at a minimum.
Trailers require a zero offset wheel vs our trucks with lots of offset.
I would get the highest load and pressure rated wheel that is available.
