Your 242 KZ may have a 6000 GVWR. KZ specs shows 14" tires and wheels. If your trailer has 14" wheels, now would be a good time to move up to 15" wheels as there is a better selection of 15" tires and wheels for a 6000 GVWR trailer.
In KZ website specs for the 242 trailers they show a 4000 lb axle rating which by fed regs require 2000 lb rated tires/wheels at a minimum.
Trailers require a zero offset wheel vs our trucks with lots of offset.
I would get the highest load and pressure rated wheel that is available.
Yes, and that way you can dump the China bombs. They will probably be an easy sell on craigslist. It also will save needing to break down the tires from the rims.
