I also traded up from a hybrid for the grandkids. I bought the Keystone Summerland 3030BHS. I don't know the weight since we have it parked on a campground lot, so that wasn't a worry. I do know with the two slide-outs (one in the bunk-house) we have plenty of room now. It also has the cube chairs that you lay out for a large sleeping area as well as the bunks. We just got it two weeks ago, so haven't camped with the grannies yet, but I'm sure they will think it is an improvement! Searching for the right camper is half the fun!
