loosing old members here ???? seem a lot are gone / going any particular reason personally I post way less because of less knowledge on newer campers AND because of sites horrible photo posting proc...

Still have a CB...don't ever use it though. We went to ham radios instead...and we're still "old timers" now....hahahaha
I think CB are still popular with truckers and commercial boaters as this way a group can make entertaining conversation.
Last time I used 1 was about 10 years ago and it was very helpful when on desert freeway traffic was stop for couple of hr.
Without CB I would never learn that "A SUV roll over on perfectly straight freeway in perfectly good weather"
By the time I got to the spot, it was all cleaned up.
Now in my old conversion, I had 8-track. Who remembers those?
Good part, got box of tapes for whooping $5 on ebay.
