Either images are part of the forum function or it's a text only service. A hybrid that depends on a 3rd party service is unfamiliar to most users these days. The vast majority of other forums out there don't have a problem hosting their own images.

But as I said. If switching to a platform that hosted images locally meant loss of the info already here, it's not a good idea IMHO.

And how long will it be before imgur decides to stop sharing for free and all the trip reports many of us have invested time preparing go from showing trip pics to a notice that if you want to see the pics the owner must pay.

On the other hand, if rv.net decided to update their software odds are this incredible library of info, not just the pics, would be lost so we'd be screwed either way.

I think some of you must not have used other boards if you think this site is easy to post photos, or you don’t read many threads by new users.

There’s almost never any new user who gets the photo posting right without help.

Not really difficult at all. Free pic hosting clicky. Nothing to join, nothing to pay, I've used it for years. Easy Peasey ... :

It's really easy and free to join something Imgur and post your pictures from there..Very easy just like photobucket used to be..

The picture posting here is the worst of any forum I've ever joined.
