WE always travel with empty ice cube trays :) but that's just a joke. The only REAL weight savings you have is to take less personal stuff with you. OF course you can go with less battery power or LP ability if you don't need either of those and you COULD drop off the spare tire (but I wouldn't). MOST of the items that came with your RV or normally are used with it should be off of the table and cut down on the OPTIONAL personal stuff instead. Fewer groceries, restrict camping recreation stuff and leave home what you can get by without. MOST of us carry a lot of "just in case" items and these would be the first things I"d unload. It's a poor mans guessing game as to what may break or need repairs and the tools necessary to do those things. Even though I carry a large number of tools, more often than not, if something breaks I don't have the necessary replacement and if it takes more than basic tools, don't have that with me either. Good news is that tools and parts are available just about everywhere you go (within a reasonable distance).
