Wow, thanks everyone for such great input!
Youth4him: Can't wait for the Durango's V8 power and 5 speed trans. I'd jump in a Denali too, except that I'm a long term Mopar guy and I don't think I'd survive the abuse I'd receive from friends / family.
dadmomh / Skipnchar: It's pretty sparse in there already (aside from the toaster oven), but I'll try weeding out some stuff while Mrs. isn't watching. I've enough tools to change a tire and do minor diagnostics - I'm a mechanic by trade so picking up a few more tools to complete a small repair doesn't phase me.
GaryWT/ChooChooMan74: The trailer weighs 3350Lbs as it sits (no fluids, big battery, 2 30Lb propane tanks etc), I weighed it right after we bought it. The Jeep is rated to tow 5000Lbs. I'd be very surprised if there's anywhere near 500Lbs of extra gear. We don't carry fluids when travelling (and now won't be hauling the hot water tank full either). Unfortunately the owner's manual doesn't provide any input for frontal area. Yes, the Jeep is taxed by the load at 60 MPH, but the difference between 50 MPH and 60 MPH is night and day. It's never changed lanes on me, nor has it ever been short on brakes.
Lowsuv: Backpackers gear is a unique consideration, thanks for that!
Weathershak: That sir is exactly what I was after. We don't use the bunk at all, It's 100% wasted weight and will be the first thing to come out of the trailer this spring.
Maija13: We don't use enough propane to justify 1 full 20Lb lpg tank. If I could sort out a bracket I'd be all over it. I'm afraid we don't drink very often, so that's even more weight savings. If you stop by the campsite I'll be glad to help you dispatch a couple of your beers :)
