Liberty weighs 4115 Lbs. Actual trailer weight (travelling) Est. 4050 - 4250 Lbs worst case scenario.
Tongue weight is rated for 750Lbs, 18T6 is 510 Lbs - rated, actual is unknown.
The 6000 Lb rating you found was for the Gross Trailer Weight - the amount of weight the trailers axle's are rated for.
The 18T6 was available in at least 2 different layouts, and the dry weight varied between models. This is what led me to weigh mine at a scale house immediately, not wanting to put my family or others at risk. Ours is a base model, no a/c, no stereo, no television which explains why it is lighter than most you'll read about on the net.
At a travelling weight of 4250 Lbs the trailer is getting too close to the Jeeps rated towing capacity of 5000 Lbs for my liking. Losing even 200 Lbs of excess will put me at or less than 4000. Psychologically a far better number, if not a notable difference in towing.
