Dealer is definitely not being honest. You couldn't order a 2014 in January 2014. Orders were closed by then. You could order a 2015.

A recent post on FTE quoted here:

"01-15-2014 Dealers were ok to start ordering 2015 F250/350

02-13-2014 FORD was starting the production scheduling of 2015 F250/350

03-17-2014 FORD anticipated actual production of F250/350 trucks would begin"

So if your dealer actually ordered something for you, it would have not been built until at least March 17. I would bet the F450 dates are even more restricted than the above, since production numbers are so much lower.

Good news is, you'll have so much better truck than any Ram, it will be well worth the wait. But you need to have a face to face with your dealer.
