I agree, it sounds like a dealer issue more then anything.

You could cancel that one and order a 2015, I think they are open to order now.

I kept rattling chains at the transport company and low and behold they found the truck in the back of a rail yard waiting too be picked up. It had became a home for illegal's living in it. By the way this was back when the Suburban's were built in Mexico. You don't want to know the condition when it arrived at the dealership.

Tell the dealer you want your deposit back and go explore your options. I have a feeling that may bring the truth out of him very quick. Ask him if the vehicle has a vin number issued yet, that will tell you if it's been built or not. No vin means it hasn't been built yet. I would bet it's due to the dealer not having the available allocation due to contraints. This is especially the case in smaller dealerships.

I have special ordered six GM vehicles and have never had an issue. I like getting exactly what I want.

I did order a F250 once and it never did show. Went over to the Chevy dealer and I have never looked back.
