Lots of Fords
Just got back week in Gettysburg PA. Mostly Fords at campground. People having more faith on the 6.7s after the bad experience from the 6.0.:B

Dude that basic design the 727 has been around for ever. It's a great trans when properly built for the HP and TQ.
Mine on my 98 12V was rock solid to 100k when I installed the Banks Power Pack kit. That trans was toast after that! Had it built to handle the 300HP and 750TQ to the ground.
Adjusting the bands is a no brainer, it took all of 10 minutes to adjust both.
The space between 3rd and 4th sucked but they made you really appreciate the modern 6 speed auto's.
The 47RE was in the same time frame as Ford 4R100.
