Just got back week in Gettysburg PA. Mostly Fords at campground. People having more faith on the 6.7s after the bad experience from the 6.0.:B

2004 NOx limits were tightened resulting in more use of EGR
2007 ULSD was introduced along with even tighter NOx limits resulting in colder running engines and DPF
*Introducing DEF aftertreatment allow engine temperatures to rise and reduce particulates without increasing NOx levels
2014 Even lower limits on NOx were pushed through as optional

Tier 3 standards start next year and will start applying more strict standards to heavier vehicles than previous tiers.
