Ah, come on, Fish, butt hurt?! Funny--lol! Now if this forum were frequented by a mostly testosterone charged, younger crowd, I might agree with you.

At some point in our life we really have to dig down deep and truly live our own life, on our own terms. If one's choice in trucks is based on what our friends, neighbors, or folks at the RV park drive . . . well . . . in my way of thinking, this is really (and only) indicative of a very effective, seductive, and well-run corporate marketing department . . . nothing more, nothing less.

No, you're certainly not alone, and I don't blame you. I'll qualify this by stating that I've never owned a 6.0, or 6.4 truck, but I have owned nothing but Fords since I was 18 years old (39 years ago :o ). The trucks, the dealers, as well as Ford have always been great. That is why, when I decided to step into a diesel, I stayed with them.

The bragging rights banter can be fun, but I just like American trucks in general, and really wish everyone here the best experience with whatever you choose. Lord knows with what they cost nowadays we deserve it!

Cheap shot, and not even relevant to this thread. Not an RV hauler, and loaded with after market electronics, and yeah, I hope there wasn't a patient in it at the time.

Anyways I stopped on two occasions when Ram/cummins trucks pulling 5th wheels were stranded on I10 West. Also there was a ram RV hauler earlier this year and when I came back from the boat storage there was a flat bed Ford and a DRW Ford (Probably from Holiday World) truck on the spot. I never seen a 6.0 PSD stranded it's owners on the road, but if so I would have stopped to assist with tow trucks as well.

In my humble unscientific opinion, I think you tend to notice more of the same brand that you are driving than the other brands. When I drive my Volt, I swear I could spot one in rush hour traffic going the other way hidden behind a motorhome and two semis. I also seem to notice more bow ties too. Seems to work when we are in the Jeep, too. If you drive a certain brand, at least in my experience, you are naturally going to notice more of your brand on the road. Again, completely unscientific, but it's just a natural need to belong to a group that makes you want to seek out others of your own brand.
