loud generators
We try to boondock when we get out but some of the places we like to go boondockin is limited. As a result we will stay in a campground . They don't offer any type of hookups only a table and a fire ...

"Within the rules".
We camped at Elkmont in the Smokies this summer.
An antique Winnebago motor home pulled in the site next to us and immediately turned on the generator. I went over and said hole cow, what did you do loose the muffler. Owner apologized but said his wife "needed" the ac and it was within the time limits.
I am a pretty tolerant person, but this was ridiculous. I asked him to please get another site or something if it was that necessary. Just a vacant stare. Went and complained. First time in 35 years!
Fact is, if you camp with a bunch of people cramned together like sardines, there will be all sorts of disagreements. Rules are put in place so that everyone knows what is allowed, and what is not... If you are unhappy with the rules, or someone who is following them... Then YOU are the one with the problem.
Buy your own campground, so you can make whatever rules you want... Otherwise MYOB.
