I love my 5.7L diesel. It's never broke down on me.
But just because I own one and it's never broke down on me doesn't make it a great engine. It's a POS and anybody that knows even the slightest bit about engines or has worked on diesels for even a day knows it's a POS.
Ford admitted in court the 6.0L was a POS when them and Nav went at it. That's all I need to know about them.
Like I said. Even most 5.7's drove great. But they still are a POS. :)
Ford admitted in open court proceedings that the 6.0 was a "POS". I'd love to see the transcripts that say that exact phrase....I was wondering when I would find your post, you don't seem to miss an opportunity to whiz on a Ford owner's Cheerios.
The man is happy with his truck. I'm happy for him. And for a truck that is supposedly the biggest turd that came out of Kentucky Truck Plant, there sure are a LOT of them on the road. By your estimation, the roadsides should be littered with the carcasses of Super Duty trucks with 6.0 engines. Don't see it.
