I sure do see a lot more 05-07 Fords than 05-09 RAMs or Chevy's of all years DMax years.
Which means what?
Which means Fish took a thread on the Ford 6.0 Powerstroke and tried to take an opportunity to do a quick slam on Ram trucks (and even Chevys, too). Business as usual.
Not a slam... but just presenting local observations.
I didn't see any responses from you on the party poopers... :W
The real observation would be to pop the hoods on these trucks or talk to the original owners. Just because it's on the road don't mean it's been trouble free. I have found through work that most of the 6.0's that I have personally went and looked at physically either had been deleted and or bullet proofed or had head gaskets blown sitting on the lot to be bought.
This is not a slam and I could care less how many of which brand is here or there but I do know I just dropped 10,000$ in on a long block for my service truck @ 175,000 miles just to keep it on the road.
Just remember that when you see a 6.0 don't mean it's been a great no problem truck. I know they are out there but the majority of the 6.0 on the road has been bought and paid for in a lot of cases twice.
OP, I am very happy that you have had great luck with you truck and please don't take this as a slam on you or your truck.:W
Again I disagree and you are so wrong... If people had to throw down a bunch of $$$ to keep their truck on the road, believe me it would be gone just like I kicked the RAM cummins to the curb because it was always something going wrong so off it went. I didn't have time for that non sense. :R
Just like the fishing guides around here that ran Opti Pop's. Power head blew and had to be towed in. Next time out that boat had a different outboard hanging on the back. I don't even see fishing guides running Opti Pop's here on the coast hardly anymore so yes seeing a product this in use goes a long ways in customer satisfaction.
Please don't take this as a slam but it is what it is. :W
