Fuel is just noise compared to the overall cost of RVing
It's not the cost of RVing that is the problem. We can absorb a few more dollars for our vacation.
It's the overall cost of skyrocketing commute prices. Where you once would spend 100 dollars a month on gas to get to work, and shop. Now. You spend 100 dollars a week, A 400% increase. that is where the problem is. That is what is hurting so many people, and keeping the economy down. - thomasmnileExplorer

Funny, gas here in western NY went UP .03 a gallon overnight.
That's it, just 3 cents? Station down the street from home went up a dime overnight on regular UL, and down 2 cents on diesel. No rhyme or reason to this.......ever. Matter of fact heard a story on radio news yesterday about the sudden spike in gas prices because of 'winter driving demand'. That's a new one. Same day on TV news saw a story about gas prices on a downward trend..............:h
Guess gasoline producers and retailers sling whatever BS they have against the wall to see what sticks........... - Jayco-noslideExplorerMaybe but it's like the stock market. No one really know what prices will be several months out. too many unpredictable.

lol. That pretty well sums it up.
No. That doesn't sum it up. - SuperchargedExplorer

The price is really out of our control, so all the "projecting" is really meaningless. Let one oil platform catch fire in the Gulf of Mexico and watch EVERY fuel company increase prices! Or let the threat of a disaster happen in some bizarre country no one has ever heard of and watch prices skyrocket everywhere! No, no, no. I give up conjecturing, worrying, or debating any more.
However, I have found the App on my I-phone to be the BEST beneficial resource for finding the best fuel prices anywhere:
GasBuddy.com
Someone on these forums talked about GasBuddy once, we down-loaded the app, and it's been WONDERFUL ... especially finding those diesel fuel stations! - old_guyExplorerstrange you should post this comment. gas prices are going up as we speak. Just heard it on the news last night. so are they going to do like everyone else, mark it up and up til our gums bleed them bring it down 2 cents and tell us the gas is going down again??? prices on every thing we eat or drink or do depends on the price of gas. and as a retired person, I think it sucks that we get 1.2 % increase in monthly pay. just enough to cover the price of our med insurance.
