Lowering a pop-up TC....is there some trick to this?

My Outfitter comes factory equipped with elastic cord which is pop riveted to all 4 corners and and is joined by a single rope , one in the front and and one in the back. When you are ready to lower the top, you attach front and rear elastic rope that has a hook to a ceiling hook and turn on the fantastic fan on high Exhaust. The 4corners are under tension as the roof drops so it pulls the corners and sides in so they don,t get pinched.Works like a charm.

Shouldn't,t be that difficult to copy.
