You can use drop shackles on the rear to get a couple of inches. If you drop the rear you will be close to the bump stops when loaded, and your head lights will point to the moon. You can install air bags after dropping the rear to keep it where you set while unloaded, beware if your bags have jounce bumpers. I actually lowered my truck with 2" drop shackles, my air bags are Air Lift Ultimate with the internal bumper. I took the shackles back off and now set stock in the rear, truck would bounce off the jounce bumpers at times (teeth shattering moment) causing a choppy ride. I have installed the correct track to gain 2" on my trailer, this is the best way of getting a level trailer I found. My trailer came equipped with Correct Track, so I had to cut the factory hanger lips that housed the cam on the original correct track. I also had to weld the correct track plates to my hangers due to the adjustment slot already in the factory system. By reading this post and its length, I hope it's understood that trying to get a level trailer with new trucks is a bit challenging. FWIW I own a fab shop and done all the described work in my shop. I have those 2" drop shackles on a shelf, I will never use shackles again on anything I own.
