Lubricating the tongue wheel jack: how & with what?

Surprisingly, I can't find any guidance on this issue -- do I need to lube the jack? Just the shaft? Inside the mechanism (and if so, how to get in there -- there are no lube points)? I am relu...

Either way the place to lubricate is the gears only.
