COG does matter, dually or not.
The single most important piece of info hasn’t been mentioned: how long (floor length) is the camper? A “long bed” camper can be an 8-footer, or it could be 11.5. You can carry an 8-footer. You’re not gonna carry an 11-footer.
A lot of campers have “kick outs” in the rear sides that use some of the space inside the box behind the wheel wells. If this one has that, your tailgate support straps won’t fit, you’ll have to remove the gate.
Before anyone can say anything of real consequence about your situation, you need to say what length camper this is.
