Unistrut. Of course. Thanks for the face palm. At the very least, a fine substitute to use while I wait for the other parts, if I bother to order the other parts.
I plan on recessing a box between cross bars for a low profile and maximum box depth. I only need a third bar to use as a handle while climbing on the roof, as previously mentioned. My intention is to carry my box towards the front.
Don’t hurt yourself too much, with that Palm Slap, but here is a picture from a couple of years back. Let me know if you need any suggestions and or help. I always do a spread sheet, with part numbers n such, when I do projects like this.
I wanted a “clean” roof' result, for wind resistance and roof top shadows, so I did it this way. I think I achieved that goal, here.
Oh, I can still raise the vent in the bath too. I left room between the solar panels to allow walking, safely, between the panels. As well as tilting them, if desired. After one winter use, of 2 panels (200w) I determined I only needed to add 1 more panel, to negate the need to ever tilt these panels. As is, I have never tilted these panels, during winter use. With limited winter sun, I am able to reach Float stage, during each sunny/partly cloudy day with 240 AmpH battery bank. (Plans to swap out the AGMs for 300 AmpH AGMs, this summer).
